ROBO Cylinder is used for the engine block hole process judgings.
Usage
The device which inserts a inspection rod into a engine block processing hole to judge the processing.
ROBO Cylinder inserts the inspection rod into the processing hole by pressing motion. Zone signals are used along, in order to judge the outcomes into either 「normal」, 「shallow compared to the regulated deepness」 or 「deeper compared to the regulated deepness」」.

- In the case of air cylinders

The total cost of the air cylinders are 90,000 JPY x 9 units/device x 7 sets = 5,670,000 JPY
- In the case of ROBO Cylinders

- The price of the ROBO Cylinder 72,400 JPY (The price includes the controller and cables)
- Number of units used
- 9 units of ROBO Cylinders are used in each device
- Number of devices
- There are 7 sets in the entire factory
The total cost of the ROBO Cylinders are 72,400 JPY x 9 units/device x 7 sets = 4,561,200 JPY
The initial cost using air cylinders were 5,670,000 JPY, but the initial cost using ROBO Cylinders were 4,561,200 JPY, allowing a cost reduction of 1,108,800 JPY.
Additional effects
Waterproof assured
Though there were no waterproof length measuring function equipped air cylinders, ROBO Cylinder is a waterproof.
Increase in precision
Though there are not much of difference in the encoder resolutions, the precision of the entire device increased from its adjustments which allows precise positionings.
Increase in product quality
There are no more works damaged by the inspection rod knockings, since the ROBO Cylinder can have its thrust adjusted easily.
