ROBO Cylinder was installed into the camera component press fitting process.
Usage
This is an assembling device for the auto focus section of a camera, and the ROBO Cylinder is used in the process where the component above the index tables are press fitted.

Explanation
- In the case of air cylinders

The height adjustment for press fittings were very difficult as the press fitting components were very small, requiring a adjusting which takes about half a day, for approximately 3 times a month.

- 4H x 3 times = 12H = 148H
- In the case of ROBO Cylinders

Takes almost no time for adjustings and change over, since the numerical value managing is enabled for ROBO Cylinder.

- 8H x 20 days = 160H
The outcome has been (160H-148H)÷148H＝0.08, having production efficiency increased by 8%.

Reduction in assembling time
The time taken for assemblings were reduced by moving it in high speed, until, and after press fittings, and moving it in a lower speed during the press fittings.
Increase in product quality
Since the components get smaller as the miniaturization increases, there is a possibility that components get damaged through the usage of an air cylinder.
