Explanation
- In the case of air cylinders

Air cylinders had a problem to raise its speed, as it may drop or misplace the attached component, caused by the shocks resulting from stoppings.
- Production volume
- Cycle time 4 seconds = 900 units/H(3,600 seconds) = 18,000 units/day(20H) = 360,000 units/month(20 days)
- In the case of ROBO Cylinders

ROBO Cylinder has a smooth speed・acceleration・deceleration adjustment, enabled to be easily configured to the suitable value, reducing the cycle time.
- Production volume
- Cycle time 3.2 seconds = 1,125 units/H(3,600 seconds) = 22,500 units/day(20H) = 450,000 units/month(20 days)
Having (450,000 units - 360,000 units) ÷ 360,000 units = 0.25, the production efficiency has increased by 25%.
As an additional effect, there were frequent cylinder replacings and equipment stoppings for maintenance when the air cylinders were in use, but having the ROBO Cylinders in use, such happens very rarely, and this leads to a further increase in production efficiency.
