Device description
This is a device that supplies resin cases for PC peripherals from a stocker to a conveyor.
Problems that have occurred so far
The impact that occurred when the horizontal axis stopped on the conveyor could cause the case to fall.
In addition, there were other issues where cases thrown in the direction of travel would overlap cases in front of them, or the distance between them and other cases would become narrower. This was causing the moment-stop.
The moment-stop was about 6 minutes, and it occurred about 6 times a day.
Improvements brought by electrification
When moving horizontally, the deceleration when stopping can be set numerically, making it possible to stop smoothly without impact.
This eliminates problems such as cases falling and cases becoming too close together, and moment-stops no longer occur.
When air cylinders were in use, there were an average of six moment-stops per day, and it took six minutes each time to recover from them.
By using ELECYLINDER, the number of moment-stops decreased from 6 times/day to 0 times/day. The labor costs allocated to recover from these moment-stops
were reduced by 331,200 yen/year.
